This company was established by Clarissa Carsten herself in 2014, who prior already provided her events management services to National Government Departments and public and private organizations. She was responsible for managing events focusing on economic development in Africa which was hosted in Dakar, Kenya, Senegal, and Cape Town. As co-owner of previous facilities and events management companies, Ms Carsten managed the Kimberley International Convention Centre (Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre). Her abilities, passion, determination, love, tenacity and discipline for the industry knew no bounds.

Managing local and international events, conferences, as well as highly profiled presidential visits, co-ordinating exhibitions, awards ceremonies, and production-, and facility management, is what inspired her to follow her own dream as a professional events organiser, and that is how Clarissa Carsten Specialized Services (Pty) LTD (CCSS) was born.
